Every effort is made to create awareness of safety regulations and procedures. Our Health and Safety unit constantly monitors our systems and runs training exercises and fire drills to ensure that staff do not relax their vigilance.

Mauritius Telecom insists on keeping a clean workplace for safety reasons, but also sees to it that a healthy environment is maintained at all times and that staff have access to medical care.

A company doctor is available for consultation during working hours. Medical refunds are provided for eligible employees, and the cafeteria, under the supervision of a dietician, offers well-balanced meals at subsidised prices.
