VSAT, Very Small Aperture Terminal is your personal satellite earth station that enables you to transfer and receive data all over the world. The VSAT equipment is installed at your premises and connected directly to your equipment.
VSATs can be used for data transmission, dedicated internet access and corporate Virtual Private Networks.
If you opt for a VSAT, you need to purchase your own VSAT. Mauritius Telecom will provide the communication circuit to the distant end and you have to arrange with a VSAT hub provider for the termination of the other half circuit and hub facilities.
