Mauritius Telecom’s IPLC is a dedicated and secure point-to-point voice or data connection with a guaranteed throughput from your local office to a foreign destination and ensures a high quality connection for interactive application.
We offer free consultancy services; we will design, monitor and manage a truly seamless global network for you. You have a single point of contact for all your IPLC needs: contracting, implementation, maintenance, support, and billing. With end-to-end visibility into your IPLC, MT ensures quick fault identification and resolution.
Our IPLC services are reliable and secure and have a high level of redundancy. We deliver protection on alternate cable systems to ensure continuity of your IPLC in the event of a cable cut on the primary route.
There are two mediums to transport the International bandwidth:
Submarine Cable System (SAFE)
MT is connected to South Africa Far East (SAFE) /SAT-3/WASC submarine fibre-optic cable. We have a point of presence (POP) in Telehouse 1, Paris. From this POP, we provide onward connectivity to distant-end locations in Europe and the United States.
MT can also, on a half-circuit basis, provide connectivity to other destinations such as South Africa, Reunion island and Asian and South East Asian countries.
Satellite
MT IPLC service via satellite is a medium used as an alternative solution to parts of the world unreachable via submarine cables. Our earth station is at Cassis and is Intelsat 702, 550 East.
Full Channel Service
MT will install and coordinate one half of the circuit and the local loop. This service will be combined with a second half circuit provided by another carrier for full end-to-end connectivity. Hence you benefit from working with one supplier on the ordering, installation, management, and billing of the circuit.
Half Circuit Service
Half Circuit Service gives you increased flexibility as we install and coordinate one halfof the circuit.
One-Stop Shop (OSS)
OSS coordinates the installation of both Half Circuits and provides you with an end-to-end solution. You benefit from working with one supplier for a single order, installation and management.
