How to place call?
To place an international call, just pick up your handset and dial 020 “country code? “area code if relevant? “number?

For example if you want to call a number in France dial 020 33 1 12345678 where 1 is the area code for Paris.

Operator assistance

Whenever your destination cannot be accessed via IDD or you need a personal service, use our operator assistance service

The operator assistance services are available on 191.

A minimum of three minutes is charged for all overseas calls connected via our operator assistance service. All additional consumption is charged in steps of one minute.

Dial 191 to book your international calls with the following options:

- Person to person call: the operator will connect the call only when the requested party is available; an additional charge equivalent to one-minute call will apply.

- Collect call: the operator will connect the call only when the called party accepts to pay for the call; an additional charge equivalent to two minutes applies.

- Countries for which this service is available: UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea and Rodrigues.

- Credit card call: international calls may be charged to the following credit cards: Canada Credit Card, South Korea Credit Card, USA AT&T Credit Card, UK BT charge card, New Zealand Credit Card.

- Fixed time call: calls may be booked to all destinations up to a maximum of six days in advance.

- Fixed duration call: Automatic termination of a call based on a duration given by the caller.

- Notify tone: Tone to draw attention of the caller after a specific duration.
Pre-Notice Tone: Tone to draw attention of the caller after 3 minutes and every subsequent three minute period.
